Only 39 percent of healthcare workers said they look at their organization's security protocols before introducing a new tool or technology, according to an April 13 survey from Salesforce.
Salesforce surveyed more than 400 healthcare workers and found that a majority of them are not following their organization's cybersecurity practices.
For example, 57 percent of respondents said their work has become more digitized, yet only 22 percent said that their organization strictly enforces cybersecurity protocols.
Thirty-one percent of respondents said they wouldn't even know what to do if their organization experienced a data breach, and only 54 percent of respondents said that they found security training at their organizations to be efficient.
