Imprivata, a healthcare IT security company, acquired Caradigm's identity and access management business Oct. 23, an Imprivata spokesperson confirmed to Becker's Hospital Review.
Caradigm, a GE Healthcare company focused on population health, provides identity and access management solutions to more than 100 healthcare organizations across the globe. Its solutions comprise governance, risk management and compliance services, such as single sign-on and multi-factor authentication.
The acquisition will advance Imprivata's authentication and access management services for healthcare enterprises while strengthening Caradigm's focus on population health management and predictive analytics, according to company officials.
The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
