Cleveland-based MetroHealth System President and CEO Mark Moran's salary and benefits totaled $695,600 in 2011, according to a Cleveland Plain Dealer report.
MetroHealth recently announced it had a net loss of $2.7 million in 2011, which was $1.6 million more than county leaders expected earlier this year, according to the report. Moody's also downgraded MetroHealth's debt in December and gave the health system a negative outlook.
Mr. Moran did not receive any bonuses last year. In December, he said he will resign from his position but will stay with MetroHealth until a replacement is found.
