Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health System will operate the health clinic at the Franciscan University of Steubenville (Ohio), according to an Aug. 26 report from The Weirton Daily Times.
The new partnership allows the university to increase on-campus access to health services for students and their immediate families. Additionally, the partnership will give university employees limited on-campus access to express care services.
Dan Dentino, PhD, vice president of student life at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, said the partnership will benefit many individuals on campus.
"This new and exciting partnership with Trinity Health System will significantly increase on-campus access to health services for our students, answering a need many students have recently expressed. I’m grateful we can also offer expanded health services to faculty and staff," said Dr. Dentino.
Trinity Health System is part of CommonSpirit Health.
