Here are seven heart center and program openings, closings, consolidations and expansions since Nov. 16:
- The Heart Mountain Interpretive Center, based in Park County, Wyo., is doubling its size with two expansions.
- Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, both in New Brunswick, N.J., opened the Cardiac Amyloidosis and Cardiomyopathy Center, located at the hospital.
- Ascension Providence Rochester (Mich.) Hospital opened a cardiac catheterization lab.
- Sunnyside, Washington-based Astria Health is ending all heart procedures and interventional cardiology services at its clinics and Astria Sunnyside Hospital.
- Cincinnati-based Mercy Health is consolidating its open-heart surgery program to two Ohio hospitals starting mid-2023.
- Stony Brook (N.Y.) Heart Institute Valve Center expanded treatment services for patients with severe aortic stenosis.
- Mason City-based MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center expanded cardiology services at its Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.
