Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System has received approval on its certificate of public need to build a new hospital in Franconia, Va., WTOPnews reported March 29.
The new 110-bed facility will be built on land next to Inova's existing HealthPlex. Construction is expected to begin in 2024 and wrap up in 2028.
The new Franconia location is one of two new hospitals that will serve to replace the Inova Alexandria (Va.) Hospital location.
