Olympia, Wash., has a rodent problem, and they have infiltrated Providence St. Peter Hospital's cafeteria, according to local KOMO News.
The hospital found evidence of rodents in the cafeteria July 26 and has kept it closed while the health department investigates and creates a safety plan, according to the report.
A Providence spokesperson told KOMO in a statement: "We have implemented our emergency operation plan for food service. Patient meals are being prepped in an alternate location and are restricted to cold food service with the exception of caring for patients with special dietary needs. There is no other impact on hospital operations."
