Washington, Ind.-based Daviess Community Hospital is beginning preliminary work to prepare for an $8 million renovation of its intensive care unit and emergency department, the Washington Times Herald reported March 23.
During the renovation, the hospital is relocating its medical-surgical unit from the second to the third floor. The actual construction will begin in mid-May.
Eventually, the ICU will relocate to the second floor.
