Christus Health has cut the ribbon on a 15-story, 460,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in Irving, Texas.
The new building, which will replace leased office space in Irving, will house about 2,000 Christus Health associates who support the nonprofit, Catholic system.
Since Christus consolidated corporate offices in Las Colinas more than 10 years ago, it has grown from 30,000 to almost 50,000 associates in four countries and expanded from 3.8 million to 7 million lives touched, according to an Oct. 23 news release.
"This symbolizes our 150-year legacy in the communities we serve across Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, as well as Mexico, Colombia and Chile in Latin America," Christus President and CEO Ernie Sadau said. "While we don't have hospitals in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, it's important to us to invest in our associates who office here to support our ministries and their growth around the globe. We are doing this by providing them with a uniquely crafted space that not only better suits their needs, but also the needs of future associates who will join us in living out our important mission."
