Gaithersburg, Md.-based Adventist HealthCare announced plans to build a new $180 million medical tower at Rockville, Md.-based Shady Grove Medical Center, the Washington Business Journal reported May 10.
The six-story tower will add 48 patient rooms. The project will be funded largely through a $154 million bond, with additional funding coming from cash reserves and philanthropic donations.
The tower is expected to open in 2025.
