In an effort to take greater control of its infrastructure, Target will scale back its use of Amazon Web Services, according to CNBC.
Google, Oracle and Microsoft Azure are among the cloud companies that will compete for Target's business as the company looks to break from its chief retail rival.
A spokesperson for Target said "we currently use multiple cloud service providers and will continue to do so," according to CNBC.
In the second quarter of 2018, Amazon Web Services controlled 34 percent of the cloud market.
"If I'm running Azure or Google, I'd go right after those guys," said John Vrionis, a partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, according to CNBC. "I'm sure they could package a compelling migration plan, and those are segments are probably most thirsty for that."
