Portland, Ore.-based ZOOM+Care unveiled an ACO commercial insurance product with Aetna for employers in the greater Portland area April 25.
Through the plan, Aetna will reward ZOOM+Care providers for meeting quality measures concerning preventive care screenings, chronic disease management, hospital readmissions and emergency room visits. ZOOM+Care and Aetna project participating employers could save up to 15 percent in healthcare spending by choosing the plan over Aetna's broad network products.
The ACO will also allow members to schedule same-day primary care, urgent care and specialty visits at one of ZOOM+Care's facilities via mobile phone. ZOOM+Care has 36 neighborhood clinics in Portland and Seattle, and ZOOM+Care providers care for 200,000-plus patients annually.
Aetna Whole Health - ZOOM+Care members will also be able to check lab results and view online medical records through their mobile devices, as well as have on-demand access to emergency care physicians at ZOOM+Care Super Clinic in Portland.
Fully insured and self-insured large employers in Washington, Clackamas and Multnomah counties can begin purchasing the Aetna Whole Health - ZOOM+Care plan July 1.
