1.HCA North Texas joins ACO
Catalyst Health Network, a Plano, Texas-based ACO, announced it has added HCA North Texas, the 15-hospital Irving-based branch of HCA, to its affiliate network.
2. Florida Blue, Tampa Bay Integrated Healthcare Network form ACO
Florida Blue and Tampa Bay (Fla.) Integrated Health Network announced a physician-centric accountable care program in the Tampa Bay area.
3. Cigna, Regional Cancer Care Associates partner for value-based care
Cigna and Hackensack, N.J.-based Regional Cancer Care Associates announced the launch of a value-based initiative to improve care for patients receiving chemotherapy.
4. UnitedHealthcare, Palo Alto Medical Foundation to launch ACO
UnitedHealthcare and Mountain View, Calif.-based Palo Alto Medical Foundation announced they inked a deal to launch an ACO for more than 63,000 beneficiaries enrolled in employer-sponsored UnitedHealthcare plans.
5. Cigna, Northwestern Medicine ink collaborative care deal
Cigna and Chicago-based Northwestern Medicine Physician Partners announced the launch of a collaborative care initiative similar to an ACO.
6. Aetna, CHI Health form ACO in Nebraska
Aetna and Omaha, Neb.-based CHI Health announced the launch of an ACO for employers, the state's first commercial, product-based ACO.
7. Palm Vascular Centers to join ACO
Miami Beach, Fla.-based Palm Vascular Centers will join the Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based PremierMD ACO, according to the medical center's CEO Eric Rogers.
8. Aetna, Value Care Alliance to launch new accountable care agreement in Connecticut
Aetna and the Value Care Alliance announced the launch of an ACO aimed at improving the coordination and delivery of care for more than 40,000 Aetna commercial health plan members in Connecticut.
9. Cigna launches 3 collaborative care agreements in Texas
Cigna announced it launched three collaborative care initiatives effective April 1 with the following three medical groups: Plano, Texas-based Catalyst Health Network, Dallas Methodist Physicians Network and Dallas-based Genesis Accountable Physician Network.
10. Aetna, Emory Healthcare to partner on accountable care
Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare and Aetna announced plans to form a new ACO to improve care coordination and delivery.
