Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (Lebanon, N.H.). Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center serves a patient population of nearly 2 million people in the New England region. Dartmouth-Hitchcock has won many awards for its sustainability efforts, including the Practice Greenhealth Top 25 Environmental Excellence Award and Circle of Excellence awards for reducing waste, greening the OR and taking action to track and measure greenhouse gas emissions. The medical center also participates in all six HHI Challenges and designed its new Williamson Translational Research Building to meet LEED certification standards.
