Hitinder Gurm, MD. Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the University of Michigan Frankel Cardiovascular Center (Ann Arbor). Dr. Gurm serves as the associate chief of cardiovascular medicine for VA Ann Arbor Health System and the associate chief for the division of cardiovascular medicine at the University of Michigan Health System. He acts as director of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Cardiovascular Consortium Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Registry — a quality improvement registry aimed on improving care quality and outcomes for patients who undergo percutaneous coronary interventions in Michigan. In 2016, Dr. Gurm received the Michigan Health & Hospital Association Keystone Center Patient Safety & Quality Leadership Award for his role in leading the quality initiative.
