Winneshiek Medical Center (Decorah, Iowa). Winneshiek Medical Center is a nonprofit community hospital that has served northeastern Iowa since 1914. WMC's medical staff consists of 30 active Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic physicians who provide both primary and specialty care. Mayo Clinic's flagship campus in Minnesota is about 75 miles from Winneshiek Medical Center.
