Gundersen Health System (La Crosse, Wis.). Gundersen Health System is a physician-led, nonprofit health system with facilities throughout western Wisconsin, northeastern Iowa and southeastern Minnesota. In addition to standard benefits, employees have access to free parking, continuing education and training programs, employee health and assistance programs, wellness programs and a health sciences library. Employees who wish to pursuer higher education opportunities to develop or increase competency in their current positions are eligible for financial aid through Gundersen's tuition investment program. Last year the health system invested almost $1 million in this program.
