Meet the organization: Trinitas Regional Medical Center is a Catholic teaching hospital sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth in partnership with Elizabethtown Healthcare Foundation. The organization employs more than 2,800 dedicated employees, roughly 40 percent of whom have been providing care at a Trinitas facility for more than a decade. Trinitas has been honored as a Platinum level Fit-Friendly Worksite by the American Heart Association every year since 2012. In 2014, Trinitas became a six-time winner on NJBIZ's "Best Places to Work in New Jersey" list.
Added benefits: Employees who use the Trinitas network pay nothing or almost nothing for services such as lab work, radiology testing, sleep studies and any other service provided at the organization's various sites throughout the state. Trinitas also offers numerous employee recognition programs throughout the year, with prizes worth between $50 and $5,000. To build a sense of community, several hundred employees and their families attend an annual Employee Fun Day and Picnic during the summer at Black Bear Lake. The organization also encourages its workers to volunteer with one of the medical center's many charitable outreach programs.
