Sarah Ahmad. CEO at CAQH (Washington, D.C.). Ms. Ahmad assumed the role of CEO at CAQH in 2023. With the most comprehensive provider and member data in the US, the company focuses on aligning the healthcare ecosystem around essential solutions, creating a more connected and less costly experience for all. Ms. Ahmad joined CAQH after holding leadership positions at Humana, Highmark Health, Magellan Health and, most recently, Shoppers Drug Mart, Canada’s largest pharmacy, health and wellness retailer. In addition to her background and expertise, Ms. Ahmad has a deep and personal commitment to removing barriers to the delivery of care. At every step of her career, she has worked to enable a better experience for providers and patients. Gail Airasian. Chief Strategy Officer at Kyruus Health (Boston). As chief strategy officer, Ms. Airasian leads business development, mergers and acquisitions, and the expansion of Kyruus Health into new markets. She oversees the digital scheduling platform company's business development strategy, including existing partnerships as well as new channels for data distribution and online appointment scheduling. Ms. Airasian has helped lead Kyruus to continue growing, adding 20 leading health systems to its network in 2023. The company now represents nearly 40% of the hospitals and health systems who have achieved level 10 status in CHIME's 2023 "Digital Health Most Wired" program and serves 42% of the country's largest health plans.
Jodi Amendola. CEO of Amendola Communications (Scottsdale, Ariz.). Ms. Amendola is a public relations and marketing communications leader delivering integrated, holistic programs to health IT clients. She founded Amendola Communications in 2003 and has grown the organization to a team of 25 serving over 50 clients nationwide. A thought leader on LinkedIn, a Forbes Agency Council contributor, and a guest on numerous marketing and PR podcasts, she provides insight on how to drive PR and marketing value via best practices and trends. She has led major campaigns for healthcare industry giants and start-up companies, including Cisco, Intel, TriZetto, Allscripts, Medicity, Eclipsys, Health Catalyst, iSirona (now Nant Health), Health 2.0, multiple McKesson business units and more. Ms. Amendola was recently appointed to the board of Chilmark Research and has previously served on the boards of the Arizona and San Diego chapters of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, leading the marketing and communications committee. Amy Amick. CEO of Aspirion (Columbus, Ga.). Ms. Amick has been pivotal in Aspirion's trajectory since stepping into the role of CEO. Within her first year, she has driven the company to over 30% organic growth and championed an aggressive mergers and acquisitions strategy, solidifying its position as a leader in the denials management market. Her commitment to client excellence, AI-driven innovation and scalability has driven substantial organic growth and the successful integration of three strategic acquisitions, significantly enhancing revenue recovery for provider partners and fostering sustained success and growth. Teresa Andrea, RN. Vice President and CIO at Silver Cross Hospital (New Lenox, Ill.). Ms. Andrea oversees all information technology functions for Silver Cross, including technical and infrastructure services, cybersecurity, applications and integration services, clinical applications, financial and administrative applications, end-user technology support and physician support and regulatory compliance. She also leads the organization's digital strategy team and oversaw the rollout of the hospital's online appointment and scheduling tool.
Paola Arbour. Executive Vice President and CIO of Tenet Healthcare (Dallas). Ms. Arbour is executive vice president and CIO of Tenet, overseeing leadership and strategic direction for the health system's IT systems. She also identifies opportunities to support the company's care network with digital technology, data automation and customer experience. In 2018, she headed four strategic imperatives, including the Voice of the Consumer strategy, which made IT a business enabler to achieve companywide objectives and outcomes. She also helped the system launch a vendor revitalization program, re-contracted with Cerner and Microsoft, and launch a self-funded innovation team. Ms. Arbour also serves on the Dallas CIO Governing Board and speaks at many Women in Technology forums.
Lisa Avellino. Chief Information and Technology Officer for Moses Weitzman Health System (Middletown, Conn.). Ms. Avellino is chief information and technology officer for Moses Weitzman Health System. She is tasked with leading the team in the delivery of secure, solution-driven technology and processes to benefit clinicians, educators and researchers. Her work spans statewide community health centers, school-based health programs, the National Institute for Medical Assistant training, the Consortium for Advanced Practice Providers, the Weitzman Research Institute and ConferMED specialty consult services. Ms. Avellino's previous roles include serving as technology strategy program manager for Stamford, Conn.-based Gartner and director of IT operations for Yale New Haven (Conn.) Hospital.
Jamie Babcock. Senior Vice President of Care Services and Operations at myLaurel (New York City). Ms. Babcock is senior vice president of care services and operations at myLaurel, where she heads the delivery of the company’s care model through telephonic, telehealth, and in-field delivery teams, providing the highest standard of care through evidence-based practice and industry standards. She is also responsible for clinical operations and logistics for innovation, scalability and efficiency, as well as clinical outcomes and metrics. She has been a healthcare executive since 2005 and boasts extensive expertise in health plan management, value-based care and clinical operations. Her skills include crafting strategic initiatives, streamlining processes, enhancing performance outcomes and cultivating a collaborative work environment.
Courtney Baker. Marketing Manager for CommonWell Health Alliance (Boston). As marketing manager, Ms. Baker handles the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that promote and raise awareness of the CommonWell Health Alliance. She is skilled at translating complex topics into engaging stories. Within weeks of joining the team, she navigated onboarding while one of the largest cyberattacks in health care impacted data exchange on the CommonWell network, and also embarked on her first Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society debut. Outside of her role at CommonWell, she runs a blog called “Unsolicited Advice”.
Jean Balgrosky, PhD. Chief Information Officer for MD Revolution (Solana Beach, Calif.). Dr. Balgrosky is MD Revolution's longstanding CIO, leading the development of its remote care platform in 2013. Her primary initiative was to develop a care platform that could adapt to any chronic condition, integrate with EHRs and remotely connect patients and providers. The platform ultimately became MD Revolution's RevUp. Today, Dr. Balgrosky is CIO and a board member for the company. She also serves on the boards of several other digital health and life sciences companies. She has been in healthcare technology and information systems for over 40 years, holding roles at San Diego-based Scripps Health and Silver Spring, Md.-based Holy Cross Health System. Dr. Balgrosky has also been passionate about helping other women enter the health IT space. She has overseen investments in more than 20 seed and early-stage companies. Dr. Balgrosky also teaches health information systems and technology at UCLA in Los Angeles.
Denise Basow, MD. Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer for Ochsner Health (New Orleans). Dr. Basow is executive vice president and the inaugural chief digital officer for Ochsner Health, where she is tasked with growing an expanding suite of digital programs like virtual care and remote patient monitoring. An ultimate goal in her role is the enhancement of access and convenience of primary and specialty care. She brings over 25 years of experience in digital health innovation to her role, having long been driven by her passion to improve healthcare.
Heather Bassett, MD. Chief Medical Officer at Xsolis (Franklin, Tenn.). As chief medical officer at Xsolis, Dr. Bassett oversees the company's data science and clinical services functions and directs its AI and machine learning strategy to address operational challenges for health systems and plans. She leads a team of physicians and data scientists and spearheaded the development of the Care Level Score, which integrates clinical expertise and data science to provide a numerical representation of the appropriate care status for each patient. Additionally, she manages Xsolis' denials management team, data science team, and its No. 1 Best in KLAS physician advisor program.
Kristen Beatson, RN. Vice President of Electronic Measures at Medisolv (Columbia, Md.). Ms. Beatson leads Medisolv's team to help hospitals and other healthcare providers prepare for digital measurement. She and her team work with healthcare quality leaders to assess and analyze workflows, evaluate data for the purpose of validation and compliance, and submit data on behalf of hundreds of hospitals each year to regulatory bodies, including CMS and The Joint Commission. She has led the client services team for Medisolv for the past 13 years, serving first as director of electronic measures, now as vice president of electronic measures. She led the team that worked with the Yale New Haven Services Corporation to validate the core clinical data elements, which CMS now requires every eligible acute care hospital to submit as a part of the Inpatient Quality Reporting program.
Therasa Bell. Co-founder, President and Chief Technology Officer of Kno2 (Boise, Idaho). Combining her passion for healthcare and extensive technology expertise, Ms. Bell created Kno2 as market forces began to drive more effective, lighter-weight healthcare solutions. She is known for three things: her focus on driving interoperability, her ability to simplify the complexities of data sharing and clinical workflows, and her commitment to serve that infuses her interactions with everyone and powers the company’s purpose to democratize healthcare communication for all, enabling the secure, effortless, and maximized exchange of patient information. A true inventor at heart, Ms. Bell is responsible for Kno2’s innovation, vision and engineering, and holds six patents for patient information exchange.
Theja Birur. Founder and Chief Technology Officer for 4L Data Intelligence (San Ramon, Calif.). Ms. Birur is founder and chief technology officer for 4L Data Intelligence, a company that helps healthcare organizations enhance quality and lessen costs via process automation and data management. Her primary accomplishments include pioneering the application of automation and AI to streamline non-clinical processes in healthcare, such as claims denial and prior authorization. Under her leadership, 4L Data has made significant strides in combating fraud, waste and abuse through AI. She is also passionate about shaping a more equitable, diverse and inclusive healthcare landscape, and is actively working to bridge the gaps in clinical trial participation. Ms. Birur is the inventor of the patented Integr8 AI intelligence platform. She brings 20 years of experience in analytics and AI to her current role, including positions in the government sector and as a management consultant.
Jennifer F. Bollinger. Senior Vice President and Chief Brand and Consumer Officer at Sutter Health (Sacramento, Calif.). Ms. Bollinger leads the marketing, communications, patient experience, consumer strategy and access to care teams for Sutter Health, aiming to elevate the health system's brand and increase consumer engagement through the delivery of a more connected patient experience. She and her team led the development of a refreshed health system brand and made significant digital enhancements. In just her first year, Sutter made comprehensive upgrades to its EHR, patient-facing online portal, digital waitlist and "fast pass", reducing the average time programs took to connect patients to care by 19 days. In addition, there has already been a 94% reduction in in-basket messages related to appointment cancellation requests. Prior to joining Sutter, Ms. Bollinger was senior vice president and chief consumer officer at New Orleans-based Ochsner Health. She is an active participant in the American College of Healthcare Executives and Leadership Institute and serves as an advisor to the Young Entrepreneurs Organization’s southeast regional chapter.
Jackie Brusch. Vice President of Marketing at Emporos (Charlotte, N.C.). Ms. Brusch is vice president of marketing at Emporos, a pharmacy commerce system that uses cloud- and browser-based point of sale solutions to help outpatient, inpatient and specialty hospital pharmacies increase safety, efficiency and profitability. In her role, she leads strategic company growth initiatives, including commercial go-to market activities for new products. Over an 18-month timeframe, she launched a mobile, browser-based point of sale and a light-guided automated will call solution. She is also responsible for the company’s digital marketing programs, including the creation of informative webinars as well as engaging digital content. Ms. Brusch joined Emporos in 2022 and built the marketing function from the ground up. In the first quarter of 2024, 45% of the total company pipeline was influenced by her marketing efforts. In February 2024, she was promoted from senior director of marketing to her current role as vice president of marketing. Ms. Brusch was born with spina bifida and is a member of the Spina Bifida Association of America’s Marketing and Communications Advisory Council.
Liz Buckle. Director of Product at CommonWell (Boston). Ms. Buckle is responsible for ongoing maintenance and improvements to the technology that powers the CommonWell nationwide network, which enables the sharing of health data for more than 231 million unique individuals. She oversees the execution of the network's vision and roadmap, both with the expansion of new use cases and enhancing existing ones. Additionally, she is at the forefront of member recruitment, onboarding and retention. She also occasionally serves as a spokeswoman and presenter. She was instrumental in ensuring CommonWell’s approval to become a Qualified Health Information Network as part of Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement. She also oversaw the shift from the network's former technical service provider to its current one. Ms. Buckle is also involved in shaping the interoperability landscape outside of CommonWell, serving as a member of the policy/technical advisory group for TEFCA and the advisory council for Carequality.
Amanda Bury. Chief Commercial Officer for Infermedica (Denver). Ms. Bury is chief commercial officer of Infermedica, an AI-powered healthcare software company that assists doctors in efficient, safe and reliable care delivery. In her role, she leads commercial activity and formulates the go-to-market strategy across more than 30 countries. She is also key to the company's partner integrations and helps adapt technology for health systems, payers and employers. Her extensive background in healthcare IT, including previous leadership roles at TeraRecon and Kyruus, enables her to bridge the gap between advanced technology solutions and health systems to enhance patient acquisition, activation and engagement. Ms. Bury is also a Society for Health Care Strategy & Market Development board member and the Arthritis Foundation corporate chair. She is a sought-after speaker at major industry conferences, and has engagements at SHSMD, Dreamforce, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, Elevate PX, Health Action Council and American Telemedicine Association in 2024.
Sherry Buxton. Vice President of IT Clinical Products and Chief Nursing Information Officer for Orlando (Fla.) Health. Ms. Buxton's dual role as vice president of IT clinical products and CNIO for Orlando Health entails the oversight of more than 250 team members and consultants in the management of Epic EHR and other clinical products. Under her leadership, the system has used Epic to streamline health data and elevate clinical, quality, safety and operational excellence. Her work has resulted in the system receiving several perfect rankings from healthcare technology associations in 2023, including the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society stage 7 designation, a level 10 for Epic’s Gold Stars Award, and a level 10 from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives. Prior to leading the implementation of Epic, Ms. Buxton served as the chief surgical services officer at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center and its level one trauma center for more than 18 years.
Bobbie Byrne, MD. Executive Vice President and CIO of Advocate Health (Charlotte, N.C.). Dr. Byrne has more than 15 years of experience in clinical informatics and 10 years of professional practice experience. She is CIO of 69-hospital Advocate Health, the nation’s 3rd largest not-for-profit, integrated health system, formed by the combination of Milwaukee and Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Aurora Health and Charlotte, N.C.-based Atrium Health. Before the combination, she was CIO of Advocate Aurora Health, which she joined in 2017.
Debora Cancilla. Executive Vice President of Data Strategy and CIO of Temple University Health System (Philadelphia). In her role at Temple University Health System, Ms. Cancilla provides strategic planning, daily management, and oversight for all technology-related activities and services. While serving as senior vice president and CIO for Grady Health System in Atlanta, Ms. Cancilla developed and delivered a two-year IT strategic plan designed to elevate quality and patient experience and completed a wholesale replacement of the system's network, phone system, and desktop computing environment. She has previously served as vice president and CIO for Atlantic Health System and senior vice president and CIO for Pinnacle Health.
Marcy Carty, MD. President and Chief Medical Officer for myLaurel (New York City). Dr. Carty is president and CMO for myLaurel, a healthcare organization specializing in acute care provision from the comfort of patients' homes. In her role, she oversees the company’s clinical and core operations, implementation and care outcomes. She also ensures that operational improvements are underpinned by proven technology. Prior to joining myLaurel, she has held leadership roles at Brooklyn, N.Y.-based Cityblock Health, Arlington, Va.-based Evolent Health, Boston-based Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and Dallas-based Steward Health.
Courtney Caufield, DNP, RN. Chief Nursing Officer and Informaticist at Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital (Los Angeles). Ms. Caufield has nursing and clinical oversight over Cedars-Sinai's Marina del Rey Hospital. She oversees professional practice, leads innovation and has established a clinical informatics committee, leveraging experience in nursing and informatics gleaned both in and out of healthcare. She has built paper charting conversion EHR systems from multiple vendors, led innovation and technology advocacy groups, established meaningful use best practices and more recently established clinical informatics clinical user shared governance committees. She currently is assisting to build “the hospital of the future” in a brand new facility for del Rey, aiming to provide advanced decision making, virtual care, and family- and patient-centered technology standards. She is also a pediatric nurse and formerly served as CNO with Renton, Wash.-based Providence Healthcare.
Michelle Charles, MSN, RN. Senior Vice President and CNIO of Virtual Care at Parkview Health (Fort Wayne, Ind.). Ms. Charles oversees all nursing informatics and virtual care at Parkview Health, which entails the disciplined and standardized management of various projects. She is also responsible for the virtual care department, which handles virtual sitting, virtual nursing and telemetry monitoring. She assisted the system with its plan to instsall cameras in patient rooms, initiated a virtual sitting program, helped with a clinical mobility project for improved communications via IPhones and more. Over three years, her work in virtual nursing has helped Parkview Health achieve an 81 percent reduction in C. difficile and a 76 percent reduction in the standardized infection ratio, ultimately leading to safer patients and less costs.
Cynthia Church. Chief Strategy Officer at Xealth (Seattle). Ms. Church is a founding leader of Xealth. She is responsible for the company's diversified growth and revenue opportunities, as well as the Xealth partner community program, working with health systems and their chosen digital health partners to achieve their goals. She leverages her network and expertise to identify and pursue strategic partnerships, opportunities and collaborations with channel partners, as well as source new sources of revenue from health insurers, pharmaceutical companies and employers. She has more than 20 years of experience in executive leadership, driving growth, building brands, launching new healthcare products and more. Her experience also includes U.S. and international mergers and acquisitions activity, corporate venture capital, strategy and planning, human resources and change management. Ms. Church helped to build Xealth from a seed stage to a leading digital health platform within five years, growing from five clients to nearly 30 health system clients. She also drove revenue growth and assisted in the diversification of revenue sources to include pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies. Before joining Xealth, Ms. Church drove revenue growth for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Beth Cooper. Vice President of Marketing and Sales at KNB Communications (Stamford, Conn.). Ms. Cooper serves as vice president of marketing and sales at KNB Communications, a communications agency specializing in healthcare and health IT. She is responsible for the ideation, creation and execution of marketing strategies for top health IT industry leaders. Her work drives growth and generates leads for health IT clients via creative campaigns and marketing strategies. She also counsels health IT companies on brand development, messaging in the marketplace and digital strategy. Through her 20-year career, she has helped form groundbreaking strategies, transform startups into market leaders and more. She was named Marketing Person of the Year by Health IT Marketing Community in 2021.
Terri Couts. Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at The Guthrie Clinic (Sayre, Pa.). As chief digital officer, Ms. Couts is exploring avenues for digital expansion at The Guthrie Clinic. In addition, she is responsible for not only adopting new digital technologies but also influencing how people, processes and technology can enable the final vision. She is helping to redefine healthcare delivery by implementing virtual care teams, patient monitoring tools, transmission of imaging results and more. Ultimately, the new care delivery system she is working to create in the Guthrie Pulse Center is a unique, one-of-a-kind method of attaining shorter hospital stays, improved results, fewer transfers and improved patient satisfaction.
Sherry de Cuba. Chief Compliance and Culture Officer at Greenway Health (Tampa, Fla.). Ms. de Cuba leads Greenway in meeting the regulatory requirements for its software and digital products. She manages Greenway's corporate integrity with the Department of Justice as well. She helped Greenway to achieve an EHR certification in 2023, showing a commitment to CIA compliance. She joined Greenway in 2019 after serving as chief information and compliance officer at Vero Beach, Fla.-based Treasure Coast Community Health.
Marguerite "Maggie" Cunningham, DNP. Vice President and Chief Nursing Informatics Officer for Inova (Falls Church, Va.). Dr. Cunningham serves as vice president and CNIO for Inova, leading multidisciplinary teams in EHR transformation to improve clinical care delivery, promote better patient outcomes and decrease healthcare costs. Her expertise lies in using EHR for research and clinical transformation, especially as it pertains to improving clinical outcomes and decreasing the burden of provider documentation. Dr. Cunningham's most recent endeavors involve leading large-scale improvement events aimed at alleviating nursing and team member burden and restoring joy to the clinical workplace. She played an instrumental role in the creation of the Inova Nursing Innovation Accelerator, which assembled over 400 frontline nurses and team members to tackle some of healthcare’s biggest opportunities. Other accomplishments include establishing a virtual nurse model, creating virtual nurse coaching for new graduate nurses, promoting a model for increasing Epic Rover adoption, spearheading the deployment of new smart devices, creating a nursing informatics liaison program, standardizing clinical communication across hospitals and clinics, and much more. Dr. Cunningham holds professional memberships on numerous committees and has been a faculty associate for the University of Maryland School of Nursing since 2019.
Kimberley Darling. Chief Revenue Officer at Recuro Health (Dallas). As CRO, Ms. Darling leads Recuro in tailoring revenue strategies to suit the telehealth industry, identifying lucrative market opportunities, devising pricing strategies. She oversees sales and business development and manages sales teams, strategic partnerships and works to streamline processes through technology. Ms. Darling is a seasoned entrepreneur and inventor with more than 30 years of experience in healthcare and technology, and has created four U.S. patents, focusing on healthcare data, payments, and engagement.
Myra Davis. Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Innovation Officer at Texas Children's Hospital (Houston). Ms. Davis acts as executive vice president and chief information and innovation officer at Texas Children's, the largest pediatric hospital in the nation. She guides over 500 IT professionals and biomedical engineers and advances the information services department. Recently, she launched and proliferated the hospital's new innovation strategy, one that will drive growth for the organization via a portfolio of investments. Ms. Davis has served in a variety of roles during her 20-year tenure at Texas Children's, including director of customer support and vice president of information services.
Wendy Deibert, BSN, RN. CNO for Caregility (Eatontown, N.J.). Ms. Deibert's role as chief nursing officer allows her to help vendors, health systems and clinicians integrate virtual care into their care delivery methods. She wields both clinical and technical expertise, which she applies to ensure that Caregility's virtual care platform, applications and telehealth solutions are clinically sound and meeting the needs of end users. Amy Knight, MD. CMIO at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (Baltimore, Md.). Jeri Koester. Chief Information and Digital Officer of Marshfield (Wis.) Clinic Health System. Ms. Koester has worked with Marshfield Clinic for years, and is now overseeing the long-term information services needs and technology vision for the system. She has experience developing IT strategy, software development and hardware acquisition and integration. Ms. Koester was able to generate at least 6 percent savings with her team in 2019 on operational improvements. Lauren Koniaris, MD. Chief Medical Informatics Officer at Hackensack Meridian Health (Edison, N.J.). Jeana O'Brien, MD. CMIO of Baylor Scott & White Health (Dallas and Temple, Texas). Dr. O'Brien plays a key role in driving Baylor Scott & White's data-driven future as CMIO. She has a background in information services and clinical informatics, and works to deliver technology solutions to support clinical practice and research. She was part of the health system's efforts to unite 51 hospitals and more than 7,500 providers under a single EHR system and continues to strive for transparency in her approach to organizational change management. Tressa Springmann. Senior Vice President and Chief Digital and Information Officer of LifeBridge Health (Baltimore). Ms. Springmann became chief information officer for LifeBridge Health in 2012 and assumed the chief digital officer role in 2020. Helen Waters. Executive Vice President and COO at Meditech (Canton, Mass.). Her team is responsible for installation, implementation and maintenance of Epic, as well as any third-party software solutions in clinical and revenue applications. In summer 2023, for the first time, Parkview was recognized by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society with a Stage 7 certification, the highest designation possible.
Laura Wilt. Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer of Sutter Health (Sacramento, Calif.). Ms. Wilt joined Sutter Health as its senior vice president and chief digital officer in March 2023. In her role, she is responsible for the health system’s digital strategy, information services, design, innovation and data analytics. She has been an integral member of the leadership team that is launching the system’s new innovation center, which is set to open in the first quarter of 2024. She recently oversaw the launch of Scout by Sutter Health, a first-of-its-kind non-clinical mental health app designed for youth and their caregivers. Mariann Yeager. CEO of The Sequoia Project. Ms. Yeager is an industry leader and health IT visionary who founded The Sequoia Project, a public-private collaborative formed to advance secure nationwide health information exchange. The project has served as the Recognized Coordinating Entity to support the implementation of the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement, established the eHealth Exchange as the largest nationwide health information exchange, and created and advanced other initiatives such as Carequality, Interoperability Matters, and other programs to advance electronic health data access for U.S. citizens. Ms. Yeager has contributed to virtually every major health interoperability initiative that has occurred during the past 20 years.
Karley Yoder. General Manager and Chief Digital Officer, Ultrasound at GE Healthcare (Chicago). Ms. Yoder spent time as vice president and general manager of artificial intelligence at GE Healthcare before moving into her current role. She has experience overseeing artificial intelligence strategy and product implementation for GE Healthcare's product portfolio. Kathy Young. Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations for Hackensack Meridian Health (Edison, N.J.). Ms. Young is Hackensack Meridian Health's vice president of infrastructure and operations, a role that entails infrastructure engineering, project oversight and operational support. She oversees the advancement of technologies in all areas of infrastructure and operations to support the health network’s 18 hospitals and more than 500 ambulatory care locations, assisted by a team of more than 200. She plays an instrumental role in executing HMH’s strategic initiatives, such as the organization's migration to Google Workspace and ChromeOS to improve security, reduce costs and streamline support. She also helped launch the data center workload migration to Google Cloud Platform. Ms. Young formally joined the HMH team in 2022 after serving as a consultant since 2019. The majority of her 30-year IT career has been devoted to helping healthcare organizations execute transformational programs such as EHR implementations, infrastructure modernization initiatives, and merger and acquisition consolidations. Ms. Young also serves as a member of the Google Cloud Women’s Executive Network and as a member of the alumni group at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
