Maggie Gill. President and CEO of Memorial Health (Savannah, Ga.). Ms. Gill has quickly ascended the ranks at Memorial Health, becoming vice president of finance and managed care at Memorial University Medical Center in 2004. A year later, she was promoted to COO. While serving as interim CFO in 2006, Ms. Gill initiated a financial turnaround that led to more than $30 million in cost savings in a year. In 2011, the board unanimously voted to appoint her president and CEO of the system. Prior to Memorial Health, Ms. Gill served as CFO of several Tenet hospitals in South Florida, where she was honored with the Tenet Outstanding CFO award three times in five years. Ms. Gill has an MBA from Saint Leo (Fla.) University. She is a member of the American Hospital Association Governing Council and serves on the State Medicaid Subcommittee on Medicaid expansion.
