Michael McDermott, MD. President and CEO of Mary Washington Healthcare (Fredericksburg, Va.). Dr. McDermott spent 18 years practicing at Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg before joining Mary Washington Healthcare, a nonprofit system consisting of two hospitals, 28 healthcare facilities and wellness services, as president CEO in 2015. Under his leadership, Mary Washington Healthcare has begun to implement a new EMR system and opened a regional cancer center. The system also formed a new provider group encompassing 14 medical practices and 43 MWHC-affiliated providers.
