Joanne Conroy, MD. CEO of Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (Burlington, Mass.). Dr. Conroy was named CEO of Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in June 2014. Previously, she served as the chief healthcare officer of the Association of American Medical Colleges in Washington, D.C. Prior to that role, Dr. Conroy held various positions at Florham Park, N.J.-based Atlantic Health System, including CMO, vice president of academic affairs and executive vice president. She also held various academic and administrative leadership roles at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Conroy is board-certified with the American Board of Anesthesiologists and a diplomat with the American Academy of Pain Management. She is the author of numerous abstracts, articles, book chapters and executive presentations.
