Yale-New Haven Hospital Heart & Vascular Center provides treatment for the most heart patients of any facility in Connecticut and is home to seven adult catheterization laboratories. Blue Cross Blue Shield Association designated the hospital a Blue Cross Distinction Center for cardiac care and the American Heart Association honored Yale-New Haven Hospital with the 2017 American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline Silver Receiving Quality Achievement Award.
