The Christ Hospital Health Network (Cincinnati). The Christ Hospital Health Network's The Christ Hospital was the first hospital in the Cincinnati region to build a transcatheter aortic valve replacement program in 2011, and in June surgeons performed the 500th heart valve replacement procedure at the hospital. In an effort to decrease the death rate for heart attacks, the health system launched The Christ Hospital Chest Pain Network to collaborate with other hospitals and emergency medicine professionals in the community to improve treatment. Truven Health Analytics named The Christ Hospital among the top 50 cardiovascular hospitals in the U.S. for the 11th time in 2017, and the American Heart Association honored the hospital with the Mission: Lifetime Quality Achievement Award for quality improvement initiatives focused on heart attack patients.
