Lehigh Valley Hospital (Allentown, Pa.). Lehigh Valley Health Network's Chrin Heart and Vascular Center is the fifth largest heart program in Pennsylvania. The center's cardiothoracic surgeons have more than 90 years of shared experience and perform 1,000 heart surgeries each year. Lehigh Valley Hospital specialists were first in the Lehigh Valley to perform transcatheter aortic valve replacement in 2012 and have completed more than 100 procedures since then. Blue Cross Blue Shield Association designated Lehigh Valley Hospital a Blue Distinction Center+ for cardiac care and CareChex ranked the hospital No. 3 in Pennsylvania for major cardiac surgery.
