Billings (Mont.) Clinic.Billings Clinic's John R. Burg MD Cardiac Center launched a transcatheter aortic valve replacement program in May 2016, which has grown into the highest volume TAVR program in the region. Billings Clinic's two heart surgeons and two interventional cardiologists perform more than 2,500 interventional heart procedures each year. In 2017, the American Heart Association honored Billings Clinic with the Mission: Lifeline Gold award, honoring the hospital's cardiac services. Mountain-Pacific Quality Health also honored Billings Clinic's efforts for heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical infection prevention with the Quality Achievement Award.
