Mount Auburn Hospital (Cambridge, Mass.). Founded in 1886, Mount Auburn Hospital is affiliated with Harvard Medical School in Boston and is home to the Saal Family Cardiovascular Center, which offers a wide range of heart services, including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, cardiac surgery and cardiac rehabilitation. Mount Auburn Hospital received a three-star rating from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons in 2015 and is a Blue Distinction Center+ for Caridac Care. In 2016, Healthgrades ranked Mount Auburn as a top 100 hospital in the nation for cardiac care and coronary intervention and a top 50 hospital for cardiac surgery.
