Children's Hospital of Wisconsin (Milwaukee). In 2015, U.S. News & World Report ranked the Herma Heart Center at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin No. 5 in the country for cardiology and heart surgery among children's hospitals. Some of the center's programs include those for adult congenital heart disease, electrophysiology and Marfan Syndrome. Additionally, the center created the country's first cardiac neurodevelopmental follow-up program for patients after pediatric heart surgery and the country's first interstage home monitoring program to increase survival rates for babies with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is Magnet-designated by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
