Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's Heart Institute comprises 16 centers and programs to diagnose and treat conditions of the heart, including a heart transplant program, which for four years in a row has completed more adult heart transplants than any other facility in the country. The institute also features a pediatric cardiothoracic program and the Barbra Streisand Women's Heart Center. In 2015, U.S. News & World Report ranked Cedars-Sinai No. 10 in the country for cardiology and heart surgery and designated the hospital as high-performing in heart bypass surgery and heart failure in its common care rankings. The hospital is also a Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care and is Magnet-designated by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
