Brigham and Women's Hospital (Boston). The Carl J. and Ruth Shapiro Cardiovascular Center at Brigham and Women's Hospital serves as the hospital's integrated collaboration of heart and vascular care and research. The center also has a dedicated Cardiac Amyloidosis Program, the only clinical program in the country focusing solely on this disease. In 2015, U.S. News & World Report ranked Brigham and Women's Hospital No. 4 in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery and named it high-performing in heart bypass surgery and heart failure in its common care ratings.
