UMHS boasts a 15-bed neurological intensive care unit as well as a first-of-its-kind in the nation neurointerventional suite that can detect and repair strokes, brain aneurysms and rare conditions. According to U.S. News & World Report's 2015-16 rankings, UMHS is No. 35 in the nation for neurology and neurosurgery.
