University of Colorado Hospital (Aurora). The University of Colorado Hospital offers a variety of childbirth support services to its patients, such as midwifery and water birth. Since 1989, the hospital's Poudre Valley Prenatal Program has also provided low-income women in the region with pre- and post-pregnancy care, including assistance with Medicaid applications. The University of Colorado Hospital neonatologists, neonatal nurses and respiratory therapists staff six Level II and III NICUs for seriously ill newborns. U.S. News & World Report ranked University of Colorado Hospital among the top 50 hospitals for gynecology in the nation in 2017-18.
