South Nassau Communities Hospital (Oceanside, N.Y.). South Nassau Communities Hospital offers support to patients looking to start a family or seeking general OB-GYN care or breast cancer treatment. South Nassau is one of the few hospitals in the country to offer a Women's Center for Pelvic Floor Disorders and provides services ranging from diagnosis to radiology to treatment. This year, CareChex ranked it No. 13 in patient safety for women's health, and Baby-Friendly USA designated the hospital a baby-friendly birth facility. South Nassau also offers specialized treatment for breast cancer patients, and their specialists have performed mammograms, ultrasounds and breast MRIs for more than 10,000 patients.
