The nonprofit, 694-bed teaching institution provides emergency care for nearly 100,000 patients per year and has one of the busiest Level I trauma centers in Illinois. In its most recent rankings, U.S. News & World Report ranked Advocate Christ Medical Center No. 3 in Chicago and in Illinois, as well as among the top 50 hospitals in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery, geriatrics, gynecology and neurology. The medical center was also listed among Healthgrades' Top 100 Hospitals in America for 2015.
