A new resource provides consumers with a myriad of information on West Virginia hospitals, including events and job openings, according to NCWV Media.
Here are four things to know about the resource.
1. The resource is a website called HospitalSmart.
2. A West Virginia Hospital Association initiative, HospitalSmart is designed to be a "one-stop shop for healthcare consumers," WVHA President and CEO Joseph M. Letnaunchyn said, according to the report.
3. Through the website, consumers may view information about an individual facility, including quality data from CMS, as well as a general pricing description, available jobs at individual facilities, and upcoming community healthcare events at hospitals statewide. It also features a healthcare careers quiz to help people determine the occupation they may best be suited for.
4. Seventy facilities participate in the website, and job postings and events are removed as they expire, according to the report.
