The 'Great Resignation' in 102 numbers, state by state

Workers are fleeing careers affected by COVID-19, taking advantage of vast opportunities in a labor market demanding talent. This so-called "Great Resignation" has carried on through high-profile layoffs and rising inflation — tipping the workforce scale in workers' favor. 

Using Labor Bureau data, WalletHub examined resignation rates from the last month and the last year across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The personal finance website then ranked each state — giving double weight to last month's resignation rates — to determine which areas are most affected by the Great Resignation. 

Here are the states with the highest job resignation rates, per WalletHub:
