Milwaukee-based Froedtert Health is looking to fill more than 500 open positions, including 250 nursing jobs, said Scott Hawig, the system's executive vice president of finance, chief financial and administrative officer and treasurer.
The mass hiring is part of Froedtert Health's $40 million investment into current and future staffing, continued wage improvements, enhanced benefits and recruitment efforts.
To help fill the positions, the system will pay referral bonuses for nursing positions systemwide and will continue to host career fairs, along with open houses in southeastern Wisconsin.
Froedtert Health also continues to focus on community and school partnerships, career fairs, internship partnership programs and community referral partnerships — in addition to being part of education advisory boards, workforce alliances and regional initiatives — to recruit employees, the system said.
