Washington Hospital in Fremont, Calif., and the California Nurses Association have reached a contract agreement, giving the hospital's 683 nurses pay raises, pending approval by the hospital's board, according to a report by the Contra Costa Times.
Included in the contract is a 1 percent pay raise retroactive to July, and another 1 percent raise next year. Also included is a new $15,000 training fund to pay nurses for training while off the clock.
