Hospital jobs help Pennsylvania's unemployment rate drop to 5.1%

A Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania report shows that hospital job growth in November helped Pennsylvania reach an unemployment rate of 5.1 percent.

That's Pennsylvania's lowest unemployment rate in more than six years, and lower than the national unemployment rate of 5.8 percent.

Pennsylvania hospitals added 300 jobs in November, bringing the total estimated number of hospital jobs that month to 269,200, according to the report.
