Nevada (Mo.) Regional Medical Center has received a $49,000 grant from the Missouri Hospital Association to assist with healthcare employee recruitment and retention at the hospital, according to a Nevada Daily Mail report.
NRMC plans to use the money to boost how the hospital's human resources department hires and on-boards. Additionally, the hospital plans to create a job shadowing program and promote professional growth, according to the report. The efforts will be focused on the hospital's clinical personnel.
The grant is part of the Missouri Hospital Association's Grow Your Own Hospital Grant Program.
