Twenty-five employees at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton, Pa., have been placed on short-term furloughs, according to a report by The Times-Tribune.
The furloughed employees are mostly in support positions, with the exception of two registered nurses who are not involved in direct patient care, according to the report. The hospital furloughed the employees to "help ensure expenses are in line with the number of patients in [its] care," The Times-Tribune reported.
