Orlando-based Florida Hospital, part of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System, is looking to fill hundreds of positions in Volusia and Flagler counties, according to a report from The Daytona Beach News-Journal.
Here are four things to know about the hiring effort.
1. The exact number of available positions was not disclosed.
2. Available jobs range "from clinical roles, such as nurses and technicians, to ancillary positions, such as those in our environmental services and food and nutritional services departments," hospital spokeswoman Lindsay Rew wrote in an email to The Daytona Beach News-Journal.
3. The hospital attributed the workforce need to growth in many service lines, the addition of several physicians' practices and the provision of new services, such as the Deltona Health Park.
4. Florida Hospital will hold multiple simultaneous job fairs this week in the Volusia-Flagler area to fill the open positions.
