Florida Hospital's new ER will add 100 jobs: 3 things to know

Orlando-based Florida Hospital's proposed new freestanding emergency facility is expected to create 100 new jobs, according to an Orlando Business Journal report.

Here are three things to know about the facility.

1. The facility, to be built in Orlando, will be 18,500 square feet and include 24 beds.

2. It is slated to be nearly identical to Florida Hospital's freestanding ER that's opening in Lake Mary, Fla., on May 26, according to the report.

3. Florida Hospital told the Orlando Business Journal it expects to break ground on the new facility in August and have the facility open by May 2017.
