Healthcare consulting firm Coker Group announced in a press release its development of a clinical documentation program and a new leader to head up this effort.
Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) programs were developed to help improve accurate clinical documentation at hospitals and health systems, according to the press release. The services will assist with improving clinical documentation, developing clinical document specialists and more.
To help make CDI a success, The Coker Group has brought on Annette Sullivan, RHIA as a senior manager to add to strategic and operational services and to focus on CDI programs.
Before joining Coker, Ms. Sullivan worked in several leadership roles with Palmetto Health and most recently as System Director of Health Information.
