Oakland, Calif.-based Alameda Health System is preparing to lay off about 57 workers, according to a Contra Costa Times report.
The layoffs will affect employees at all seven of the system's locations, including a psychiatric hospital and wellness clinics. Clinical workers, such as charge nurses and licensed vocational nurses, will be affected by the cuts, the Contra Costa Times reported. Some employees have already received their pink slips.
Alameda Health System is attempting to find other positions within the system for some of the affected employees, according to the report.
