David Sides will oversee Teladoc Health's commercial, technology and operations teams as the new COO of the telehealth company.
Four things to know:
1. Mr. Sides previously worked 17 years at Cerner, where he served as vice president and managing director of the EHR vendor's U.K. and Ireland-based operations.
2. At Cerner, Mr. Sides was also senior vice president of worldwide consulting. In the role, he was responsible for delivery services in 24 countries.
3. Most recently, Mr. Sides served as CEO of Streamline Health, a revenue cycle management software company.
4. Mr. Sides is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
