Optima Health is piloting telehealth company MDLive's recently launched quality performance product CareLink, which aims to help health systems improve various clinical quality metrics.
CareLink telehealth services can be accessed through MDLive's care connector portal, which allows care coordinators to schedule online appointments for their members. Patients can also access MDLive's provider network online to partake in virtual consults.
"One of our goals is to ensure that our clinical quality performance ratings reflect the outstanding care that our physician network delivers to our members," Optima Health Senior Medical Director of Clinical Integration Sam Basta, MD, said in a news release. "I believe the convenience and access of MDLive's CareLink will make it an important pillar in our population health and quality improvement platform and in helping our organization achieve this goal."
