Irving Park, Texas-based VHA has partnered with Alpharetta, Ga.-based Care Logistics to provide its member hospitals Care Logistics' Hospital Operating System™, a care coordination model and technology system, according to the companies.
The Operating System™ centralizes the logistics of patient care, allowing providers to manage care processes across a facility. The software features patient logistics, such as the location and status of each patient in the hospital, order logistics including the status or readiness of a service, demand logistics that navigate capacity management and even a rounding app that shows physicians where in the hospital their patients are located.
