The No. 1 attribute providers ranked as important when purchasing a medical device is consistent outcomes, according to a Vennli survey.
For the survey, the medical device market research firm asked 9,048 healthcare professionals — including physicians, clinicians and dentists — about their purchasing behaviors.
Here are the top five attributes providers ranked as important when purchasing medical devices.
1. Consistent outcomes: 94 percent
2. Positive patient outcomes: 93 percent
3. Durability: 88 percent
4. Easy to use: 86 percent
5. Efficacy: 86 percent
The bottom five attributes providers ranked as important were innovation (69 percent), attractive design (67 percent), education and training (66 percent), low price (65 percent) and recommendation by a key opinion leader (62 percent).
