Premier recognized Lynwood, Calif.-based St. Francis Medical Center with its Supply Chain Excellence Award at the group purchasing organization's Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition June 29 in Washington, D.C.
St. Francis Medical Center was one of 14 hospitals to receive the award, which recognizes healthcare providers' exceptional purchasing practices.
"St. Francis Medical Center is continuously advancing its supply purchasing strategies and collaborating to share best practices that support Premier alliance members," Durral Gilbert, Premier's president of supply chain services, said in a news release emailed to Becker's. "We are thrilled to present the hospital's team with this honor as they work to provide high-value care in their community."
